IntelliSite Brings IoT to Life at Bosch’s Annual Sales Meeting with Customer Perspective

At IntelliSite, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely in terms of its impact on every aspect of our lives, from how we work to how we conduct our daily lives at home with our families. During this rapidly evolving situation we want to reassure you of our ongoing efforts to protect the safety of our employees, partners, customers and the communities that we support with our Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

The introduction and rapid spread of COVID-19 from a remote city in China to across the globe continues to impact us all. As of today, we are seeing many parts of our country being told to shelter-in-place to help flatten the curve and remove the expected burden on the hospitals and medical industry from being overrun. These changes are happening quickly and we are seeing our daily lives change at a rapid pace.

If you are able to look past many of the “sensationalized” news stories that tap into people’s fears, you will see individuals and companies coming together to help others. For instance, in my Facebook feed, I saw our community working to coordinate meals for food-insecure children that rely on daily school provided meals. I have also been witnessing the community outpouring of support to our local restaurants as they struggle with no patrons. And we are seeing corporations step up to creatively address specific needs. For instance, Anheuser Bush is converting one of its breweries from producing spirits to hand sanitizer. A famous dress designer, Siriano, is manufacturing COVID masks instead of apparel. And today, the government has asked that the major car manufacturers (including Tesla) begin producing ventilators.

Our primary concern is the health and safety of our employees, customers, and partners. That commitment covers everything, from making sure we are doing our part to “stop the spread,” to maintaining business continuity so that our customers and partners don’t have to worry about theirs. Like most companies and institutions, we are closely monitoring the latest information provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local governments, and we are adapting our plans to reflect the updated guidelines and evolving situation of COVID-19. As a family run business, we are working with each employee to address their concerns and are over-communicating with our partners and customers to create a sense of normalcy in an abnormal time.
